What is STIQ Day?
STIQ Day is a national campaign aimed at raising awareness of the importance of mental health and suicide prevention among young people in Australia. The campaign was launched in response to the growing number of youth suicides in Australia, which currently stands at around three per day.
STIQ Day encourages young people to talk about their mental health and to seek help if they are feeling suicidal. The campaign also aims to educate adults about how to support young people dealing with mental health issues.
STIQ Day is held on the first Monday of every October. This year’s STIQ Day will be held on Monday 2nd October 2017.

How To Prepare for a Self-Check

Next, gather any documents that you’ll need to complete your self-check. This could include your birth certificate, tax return, or bank statements. If you’re not sure what documents you’ll need, the IRS has a handy tool that can help you figure it out.
Finally, create a myIRS account. This will allow you to access your tax records online and make changes to your account if needed. It’s quick and easy to set up, and it will save you time during your self-check.
Now that you’re prepared, let’s get started!

What Should You Do If You Find Something Strange?
If you find something strange, the best thing to do is to alert a STIQ Day staff member. They will be able to investigate the situation and take appropriate action. If you see something that could potentially be harmful to yourself or others, please evacuate the area immediately and notify a staff member.
STIQ Day is a day of advocating for and teaching about the importance of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math). We want to ensure that everyone – kids, parents and teachers alike – are educated on how powerful these disciplines are and how they can help us solve some of our biggest problems. It is inspiring to see so many people out there doing their part in making sure that future generations have access to the best education possible!
