International Reducing CO2 Emissions Day, set by the United Nations, falls on January 28th.
It is meant to promote the development and application of measures aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
On this day, we should think about how our actions impact the Earth’s climate.
The goal is to achieve a balance between human needs and the planet’s capacity to fulfill them. We can all do our part by reducing our carbon footprint and encouraging others to do so as well.
In honor of this day, we would like to share our vision for a better world.
The United Nations calls for a reduction of global CO2 emissions by at least 50% by 2050. However, we believe that this goal is not ambitious enough. In our vision, we want to see a world where human beings live in harmony with each other and with nature. Only then can we achieve real progress on all levels: social, economic and environmental.
